It’s generally recommended to have the tank inspected every three years and having it cleaned/pumped every 5 years. however, it may need cleaned sooner depending on the usage.

• Water and Sewage backs up into the house.
• The area around the tank smells bad.
• Gurgling in the system.
• Slow drainage.
• Standing water or very green grass near tank.

1. Turn off the water and don’t flush any toilets.
2. Clean the area where the backup happened.
3. Try to locate the source of the backup.
